About FSF

The Ferrisburgh Solar Farm is Vermont-owned. The 16-acre tract of land is located at the corner of Route 7 and Monkton Road in Ferrisburgh, Vermont. Solar-Panels-with-Grass

The FSF is a 1- Megawatt solar electric generation project. The southern slope offers an excellent condition to harvest energy from the sun.

The location is also ideal from an educational perspective as the property is neighbor to the Vergennes Union High School. We are enjoying interacting with the school and look forward to ongoing learning opportunities. For others interested in the project, an educational kiosk and 4 solar panels have been erected next to the site just off Route 7 on Monkton Road. The visitor center is open to the public.
